Bible Study

Weekly Bible Study, is on Sunday at 10:45am, following our Divine Service. Pastor sometimes refers to the Bible Study as a Bible Conversation, because he prefers to discuss the bible rather than only lecture on it. He encourages questions saying, “I’d rather answer the questions you actually have than the ones I think you might have.” We also learn and grow together as each person contributes or asks questions, but no one is ever put on the spot – you can participate as you choose.

We treasure God’s Word, knowing that much of the history revealed in the bible has been proven accurate by Archeology and other historical studies. The promises of God have proven reliable over time as God has fulfilled His promises at the right time. God’s Word is eternal and unchanging even as God Himself, is eternal and unchanging. God’s Word is life-giving, faith-strengthening, and wisdom-building. Join us as we learn and grow together.

Support and Recovery

Concordia is working to grow a selection of support and recovery groups to help people who are in need of a second chance, or a supportive friend. God provides second chances through Jesus for the eternal consequences of our sin, but sometimes it also helps to have other people to meet and talk with who understand the difficulties life can send our way, and the consequences of mistakes we make.

DivorceCare

Divorce or separation is very painful for most people. You planned to spend your lives together, but something went wrong, as is too often the case in this world with all it’s problems. But you don’t have to go through this alone. There is help. There is healing. There are other people traveling a similar path, who will understand what you are going through. DivorceCare provides teaching and resources to help you navigate the emotional and practical issues that come with divorce or separation. One of the best parts of DivorceCare is getting together with others for mutual support and encouragement. Many people find it so helpful they will go through DivorceCare more than once. The DivorceCare program has 13 sessions. See the video below for additional information, or visit www.divorcecare.org.

There is also a single session DivorceCare “Surviving the Holidays” group that focuses on how to deal with the Holidays as a newly divorced or separated person. This session includes strategies for handling family gatherings, work events, and other situations that often occur around the Holidays. Watch this page for the next scheduling for this event as we approach Thanksgiving 2026.
